Mount Carleton Provincial Park invites you to a Winter Adventure Weekend, Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18 at the Lodge!

Enjoy winter to the fullest with free park entry all winter long, access to trails for snowshoeing, skiing, fat biking, and kick sledding, plus a visit to our giant ice dome. Warm up indoors while discovering our incredible menu.

Saturday:

• Free s’mores by the fire (while supplies last)

• Basic Wilderness Survival Workshop – 1pm–3pm. Topics covered include:

How to avoid getting into a survival situation.

What to pack in a first aid kit and a survival kit.

How to start a fire and find combustibles in the forest.

How to construct a shelter.

How to signal your presence.

How to navigate in the wilderness.

Knots and their uses.

And more!

Sunday:

• Guided Hike of Mount Bailey – 10am–2pm*
